I'm usually pretty stoic; it comes with the territory as dad and teacher to be the calm in the sea.But bringing my kids to the show and seeing the wonder in their eyes reenergizes me to be who I'm meant to be.

I often get to the show bogged down in the logistics of Christmas, burnt out on the shows and presents and travel and events. But it forces me to slow down, to take stock of what has (and hasn't) happened since last year.

It's an amazing show logistically. I can see all the parts of music, lights, sound, and vfx working together. It's incredible that humans can make all this happen!
