That's not my name
@endoubleu.bsky.social
You probably know me for my bird illustrations and sewing stuff, and maybe dinner, but on this profile I'm just me, for the social side.
There's a business me too, if you know where to look.

Wellington really is such a scenic city. Where else would you get an inner city suburb that looks like this?

Just updating some settings in LinkedIn (AI gen, I'm looking at you) when I came across this.

I am laughing.

Like, we literally searched for 18 months to find the most affordable, liveable house we could, and we're still living there 18 years later.

The last time I got "Promoted" was 2005.

Swap ya?

Righty-ho, I think I'm going to call it an early night tonight, but you know what?

The sun will come up, tomorrow, you can bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow, the sun will shine...

(Unless you're in the lower North Island. But the sun will still be there. Somewhere.)

Let me save you $15.

Luckily I also bought some ginger beer, and mixed together it’s tolerable. On its own it’s a 0/10 from me.

Could it be this setting?

Going through checking my iPhone settings to see how I’ve got my emergency alerts set up.

It’s annoying how iOS makes you look in 50 different places for settings, but hey, I just come across this, so now my phone is slightly less smart!

The setting was really hidden, so path is in the alt text.

I seem to just have an on/off toggle.

This was our place, mid 80s, I think a couple of years after we moved there. The goat is probably 2/3-1/2 way down the property.
It really was quite lush by the time they’d been there 10 years, albeit still ramshackle. The orchard was great by the time it was sold, unfortunately torn out. 😢

I still have the flowers made up, they live on my sideboard. Every time I see them, they are a reminder to me of kindness.

I’ve learnt a lot about kindness these last few years. Mostly I’ve learnt that when people are kind to you, it makes you want to be like them.

Well I was until two wells ago, but I’m self-employed right now.
This would feel more inclusive if it has options for that, school student, and currently unemployed.

But any way, I will sign, and I will also encourage you to join your union if you have one available to you.

I don’t mean to alarm anyone, but apparently the band has entered the chat…
May 2, 2025 at 12:12 AM

These are the two most cherished in my collection, gifts from my father to my mother before they married… he obviously had some ideas about being kept in the manner to which he would like to be accustomed. 🤣

She was 18 when she received these, one for Christmas, one a couple of weeks later.

Solid toothpaste is NZ made, and yes, it is fluoridated.

Second spider of the last hour crawling over me. First one was a jumping spider on my compression sleeve, this one is a tiny wee one that is almost invisible because it’s the same colour as my trousers.

I don't see supermarkets on this list... I wonder what legislation they are referring to?

When I see them, I often take the prompt, rather than hitting the like button. So I can confirm they are having a positive effect, even if it is just quietly breaking my scrolling.

Look, I’m not judging. My accomplishments today are getting up and showered, making dinner, and getting my highest ever score on Zookeeper on the Nintendo DSi. Which may have taken several hours. The game takes between 10-20 minutes to play right through…

Look, I am strictly politically neutral in public… but I need to know why haven’t I seen anyone else highlighting this?

I had to speed this up many times so it will fit under 60 seconds, and I unfortunately missed the leaders on foot right at the start (thought I was filming when I wasn’t). Pito-one at 4:45 this morning. It took over 5 minutes for those on foot to pass.

And here’s an older photo, in which she looks very stern.
November 13, 2024 at 9:49 AM
Yes. Although she wasn’t particularly happy about it. She’s quite camera-shy.
