The techniques to do this have been around for years. It's technically proficient but not any great accomplishment. And we minimise animal use in biological research to reduce suffering. SO WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU WANT A HAIRY MOUSE.

When the first kid arrived I got rid of the car. Sink or swim! Learned how to use the busses (it wasn't so easy in 2006!) and used hire cars for holidays. Otherwise we did not go to places where there was no public transport. My three kids are all proficient in public transport.
