I am currently living a kind of half life: Dad is still in hospital & needs short term residential care to rehabilitate his mobility. Mum is at home and entirely dependent on me for support. I have extra support starting next week for Mum to help me cope. The guilt is immense.

Dad is still in hospital. My sibling group is in meltdown. Watched “3 Salons at the Seaside” with Mum. So many memories of being in salons with my Mum while she worked in the 80s. May have silently cried a bit. On the plus side, I’ve lost a stone on the Worry Diet (not recommended).

Dear Lego, I love you but please please please don’t show inaccurate pictures of characters holding pieces they cannot hold, on boxes as it can be a trigger for ND people. Yours, exhausted from trying to get a digger driver to “hold both controls like the picture”, etc.

I know everyone thinks their kids are awesome but…
We just thanked N for looking after the dog and he said “Mum was with Grandad in hospital, Dad was looking after Grandma and so we just did what needed to be done at home”.
Obviously this made me cry.

Why?
