I have gone to a Christmas party.
After about a half hour I saw a cat in a doorway.
“Oh that’s Hank. He’s sweet but older and has tumors in his ears and he’s never been very social so don’t be surprised if he doesn’t let you pet him”
Two minutes later:

December 7 is Pearl Harbor Day and I’m thinking of my friend - and Pearl Harbor survivor - Mr Tom Poole.
In the times in which we find ourselves I find myself often asking “what would Mr Tom do?” and the one thing I know he’d do is that he’d try to do the next right thing. I try to do that, too.

I sometimes look at the news from my hometown. Apparently the “big news” is that someone painted some very poorly done graffiti on the bricks of a local business.
One resident blames “the left” because they continue to vote for “diversity” and asks if anyone is surprised this is the outcome 🙄
