I’m the notetaker at the TTRPG tables I’m involved with, and I’ve written most of our stories up and posted them online (with permission). Here’s a thread of links if you’re so inclined!
Bryn (gnome cleric of Oghma) was my first D&D character. It’s a trope that we work through trauma with our PCs, but she was the one I played as I was coming out to society as nonbinary while simultaneously leaving a controlling religious environment.

It’s raining outside but inside I have mushroom and truffle tortellini (from a box) and garlic bread (also from a box) and a fireplace DVD for ambiance and I’m snuggling into some soft warm blankets for the evening
Just for fun, I try the machine one more time - and it goes through. I try the second machine - and it goes through.

I use their “online chat” which says there are no declines and suggests paying a different way (it’s a swipe only machine) or replacing my card (which won’t help two loads of wet laundry).

Mixing a teaspoon of all the spices in my cabinet and calling it “all spice”
I’m having a good day so far despite my back insisting that I should not move. I’ve made a batch of sweet tea, emptied the dishwasher, and got caught up on my journaling.

A little later on I’ll probably write a blog post.

How are you all doing today?
I realized I’ve almost filled my first journal. I have so many notebooks that I never wrote in because I didn’t think what I wrote would be good enough. Well about two years ago I resolved to write something - anything - and use the “nice china” as they say - and I have!

I like that I am setting boundaries, and the while keeping them takes work, it also means I’ve been happier than ever before
I’ll celebrate with a cranberry vodka
