I thought I'd be able to pretend it wasn't happening forever. I was only nine, and meds worked really well to control my seizures until I hit puberty. And then they didn't. 10,000+ seizures later I'm on multiple meds plus something to prop up my abused thyroid.

One received an invitation from a neighbor, took a month to call her, and hung up in panic when she asked him why it had taken him so long to call. He is now hiding in his house waiting for her to go to college so danger of casually bumping into her passes.
