2/ Fatima worked closely with fellow anti-caste and feminist activists of her time, including Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule, a couple who established multiple schools for girls of all backgrounds. Their friendship represents a model for interfaith and intercaste allyship that we celebrate.

/ In 2025, our caste equity work brought caste protection resolutions, Know Your Rights workshops, webinars, and mutual aid support for Dalit communities despite instability caused by immigration crises, budget cuts, and hate speech. 💪🏾💪🏾

1/💙🍃Former Jharkhand chief minister and veteran tribal leader, Shibu Soren, also reverently called ”Dishom Guru”, died on August 4th, 2025, at the age of 81. He was honored with this title by the Santhal community for his leadership and work for Adivasi causes.
