4/ Fatima Sheikh's legacy lives on today as we continue to advance her mission to end patriarchy and caste apartheid. Now, we must fight to ensure that Fatima’s contributions to India’s women and caste-oppressed communities will not be erased. Jai Bhim! 💛💙

3/ Despite severe opposition, Fatima fought to empower girls at a time when education was a privilege limited to dominant caste men, so we celebrate Fatima’s legacy with revolutionary joy and gratitude for her groundbreaking work.

2/ Fatima worked closely with fellow anti-caste and feminist activists of her time, including Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule, a couple who established multiple schools for girls of all backgrounds. Their friendship represents a model for interfaith and intercaste allyship that we celebrate.

/ In 2025, our caste equity work brought caste protection resolutions, Know Your Rights workshops, webinars, and mutual aid support for Dalit communities despite instability caused by immigration crises, budget cuts, and hate speech. 💪🏾💪🏾

This year, we published two landmark reports: 1) Caste, Race, and Religious Hate Speech On Bluesky and 2) Tracing the Online Hate of Zohran Mamdani. As a trusted voice in human rights and digital safety, we shine a light on hate speech and advocate for its removal from public discourse.

4/ We must also mobilize to empower Trans leaders, build safer and stronger communities, and ensure that all gender non-conforming folx can be seen through authentic, diverse, and accurate stories while navigating the world in safety as their full selves. 💪🏾💙💛Trans rights are Ambedkarite values!

3/ Last year alone, 27 gender-expansive folx lost their lives through violent means. Anti-Trans violence especially impacts Black and Brown Trans women. Today and every day, we celebrate all Trans people everywhere to combat disinformation, oppression, Transphobia, and hate.

2/ On Trans Day of Remembrance, we celebrate and uplift the lived experiences of Trans people and the countless contributions they have made to our movements, while also drawing attention to the dangerous barrage of transphobic legislation being introduced across the country.
