I'd forgotten that Madonna was in that movie!

In my experience, it's deeper than that.
Some people out there treat disagreement as a marker that you are "less than human". Note that this person called Cameron's girlfriend as "lacking in dignity".

It's disgusting and needs to be pointed out whenever it happens.

Okay, Roy: what's the plan to impose a Dictatorship of the Proletariat in the near future? And how do you respond to allegations of being an "accelerationist"?

Well, good news: it is body horror.

From a humanist point of view (thanks, Immanuel!), saying other people "have no dignity" is two inches removed from calling them "NPCs" or "biomass".

Also, isn't there a Ryan Murphy show about this exact same concept?

Lombrosoism was supposed to have been made obsolete like a century ago:

Why does Kate have so much hate for building more housing?

If you don't mind me asking, what was your specific role in this series? Do you have any interesting anecdotes that you can share?

It's astounding to find your name cited alongside SEED's writers like Shigeru Morita, Hiroshi Ohnogi, among others.
@toysdream.bsky.social's involvement in the franchise as a super-fan is well known (he even got a character in the show named after him), but this one is news to me.

"Regulation = Bad"

Bluesky isn't as decentralized as you (or I) would hope it was. It's not like Mastodon instances.

And "community tools" (blocklists, tags) are not a replacement for actual moderation.

And, at the same time, he has to keep the USS Hillary Clinton from the first books.

After the censure, I honestly believe she should've changed her caucus to "independent".

This is called "Strasserism". And Hitler purged it on the Night of the Long Knives.

"Allied with commies" until the time was right for Hitler to make his move for Lebensraum.

You'd need an extremely broad definition of "socialism" to even begin describing the Nazis as left-wing. The traits you describe apply to many (if not most) populist movements: even the USSR and Communist China turned to nationalism eventually. Or look at North Korea.

No, it doesn't.

>the average NPC
Figures.

And, to be fair, I've seen this exact same attitude from BSky leftists.

"Meeting right-wingers where they are" is precisely what Starmer's government is doing right now.
Just look at the results.

I bet you get the snide look from them when you tell them you support Ukraine.
February 12, 2026 at 6:33 AM
That's not how it works.
Like it or not, it's the administrators' job to moderate shit on a platform and kick out bad faith actors. Not just on BlueSky, but in any large social gathering.
The "curated blocklist" practice only serves to create echo chambers. I'd rather earn blocks fair and square.
