Back in college, we were given a homework assignment: use silhouettes to illustrate a page from classic lit. I got VERY carried away and did a whole book instead. Fifteen years later, I've republished it using KDP. A few samples below.

My kids have been getting into youth fiction as they get older, so I've been stocking a bookshelf for them, and carving some wooden bookends. I've been a digital creature for so long, I forgot how squirrelly it is to try to do lettering with a paintbrush.
