I took this shot on a visit to St Ives today, just because it amused me. 10 minutes later, one of these miserable f**ckers swooped down on me and stole my ice cream out of my hands. That most certainly did not amuse me.

What is that saying about mad dogs and English men? These guys are definitely staying out of the sun.😃

Any obliging gardeners out there who can identify this plant for me? I think I sewed the seeds for it myself, but I've thrown away the packet or box they came. The stems are prickly and furry and I seem to be allergic to them!
