Fire damages two buildings in Columbia, including home to SC Appleseed
A fire over the weekend has left a legal advocacy group without a home after damaging two buildings in downtown Columbia.

Due to the continuous attacks to the Latino community recently, in Columbus, SC, people burned down two Legal Justice centers. These centers help people with low income in SC, domestic violence, immigration, housing issues. There have been no news about it, only locally. www.wltx.com/article/news...

There's a lot of inhumanity at play in all of this but the callousness it takes to inflict this sort of pain on kids in particular is simply incomprehensible to me.

Of the 4000 researchers at NIH, only 20% are tenured. They’re going to fire all the rest as their contracts come up for renewal, absolutely decimating research at the NIH. This is catastrophic, not just for Americans, but for the whole world.

Of the 4000 researchers at NIH, only 20% are tenured. They’re going to fire all the rest as their contracts come up for renewal, absolutely decimating research at the NIH. This is catastrophic, not just for Americans, but for the whole world.
