Rain is forecast and we are all hoping for rain but no lightning strikes.
I think this is called a mackerel sky. Blue sky overlaid with masses of small white clouds. They are not fluffy but rather little clumps making a pretty overall pattern. The horizon is still dirty brown smoke covered.

Yes! I don’t know who decides the names but that parrot is a crimson rosella-yellow variant” and the redbrowed finches can be quite big flocks (of tiny birds). Here’s a young wren for you.
Young blue wren-might be female but even the males take some time to develop their colour. It is a tiny brown and white bird with very upright tail feathers. Another view of the completely unafraid little bird. Little brown wren.

A few examples of Superb Blue Wrens. They can be very skittish but are often seemingly unafraid of posing in their gorgeous mating colours ( males).🪶
