I’m trying to build a news and information feed, so I am not much of a “follow back” person. My apologies.
I like medicine, science, politics and things that are funny.
I don’t know why my posts didn’t thread.
….but here’s the part that breaks me about this whole Epstein thing. Even the smallest admission of bad behavior would require these men to see young women with modest means and few options as actual human beings who deserve respect and care, not shitty…

A weird thing about this whole Trump, Prince Andrew, Epstein situation is that if any of these men could indicate that they’ve learned anything, they’d be given some grace.
The Steubenville football rape case moved our understanding of consent forward. The Me Too movement…1/x

People saying Trump didn’t “do” anything with Guiffre are missing the point. If they spent hours together, presumably they talked. Trump knew Guiffre’s situation and didn’t try to help her or any of the other girls that Epstein trafficked.
THAT’S the point.
Trump knew the ick and was fine with it.

Eight million of us didn’t go stand in the streets with signs so you guys could re-open the government without extending the ACA subsidies.
Come on now.
November 9, 2025 at 10:12 PM
Hey Republicans, today would be a good day to extend ACA subsidies, re-open the government, and release the Epstein files.
You know, fresh start.

Zohran Mamdani is like JD Vance but with actual principles.

I’ve been trying to figure out a way to describe Squinty McMeltyface Scott Bessent.
He looks like Madame Tussaud’s put Barry Bostwick too close to a south-facing window.

The lasting impact of the NO KINGS protests won’t just be in the huge urban crowds, but in Republican neighborhoods and small towns where a few people got together to stand on a street corner and say “That’s enough, Donald.”

My Nobel Peace Prize prediction: the committee will award the prize to nominee Pope Francis, who will neither gloat nor complain about the outcome.

Karoline Leavitt’s lips today: colossal misstep on her part. Her whole brand is “everything’s fine.” And then she goes and undermines it by changing something essential about her image.
Just dumb.

Pushing back on the “leftist”accusations, may I point out that the relationship between Robinson and partner was totally tradwife?
Definitely a “my darling, why don’t you shelter here in the covered wagon whilst I defend your honor by shooting some indians” vibe.
Very Mormon.

Not my idea, but brilliant:
Reporters covering Trump need to begin as many questions as possible with “Sir, can you explain your failure to….?”

Eg failure to end the Ukraine war on day 1, failure to lower the price of gas to $2, failure to lower egg prices, etc.

Ted Cruz criticizing Trump is interesting. Cruz is entirely unmotivated by ethics or morality, so that’s not why he called Trump a mob boss. Does he feel that Trump is vulnerable?

Kim Jong Don. You heard it here first.

When authoritarianism is on the rise, you can count on the richest, least vulnerable men on the planet to be the biggest cowards.

Tyler Robinson isn't "of the left" as Republicans like to say.

He's the reason "the left" exists.

What do I mean by that? And/or Prove Me Wrong.....

Let's make the switch from talking about "separation of church and state" to talking about "separation of POWERS of church and state." What does separation of powers of church and state really mean and why is it important, especially when we talk about Russell Vought and Project 2025?
Discuss.

I’m pretty mad at some of you conspiracy theorists for making me consider, even for a moment, the idea that Charlie Kirk may have staged his own death so he could come back from the dead in three day’s time.

Those were perfectly good brain cells and now I have to throw them away.

I’m going to try for a break from social media but before I go…
EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE GUN COMMUNITY KNOWS SOMEONE WHO PROBABLY SHOULDN’T HAVE ACCESS TO GUNS.
Their abject refusal to manage this reality endangers us all.

What are people seeing in Chicago today? Not asking for specific locations or anything here, but is there a visible ICE presence?
September 6, 2025 at 6:00 PM
What if Trump isn’t in the Epstein files as a perpetrator but the whole business of how bad the abuse and coverup really was, makes everyone decide they never want to deal with or trust any of the people involved ever again? Including, and maybe especially, the guy who insisted he had no idea.

REP. @brotherjones.bsky.social: “People want to give thoughts and prayers after a shooting, but it’s a form of theological malpractice when you pray for something you have the power to change.”

EVERY FEDERAL DEMOCRAT (AND REPUBLICAN!) NEEDS TO IMMEDIATELY CALL FOR A BAN ON HIGH-CAPACITY MAGAZINES.
"GUN CONTROL" IS HARD, BUT BANNING HIGH-CAPACITY MAGAZINES IS EASY.
IT WILL CUT DOWN ON THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO DIE IN MASS SHOOTINGS.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER.

“Democracy is under attack, please send $5” is a ridiculous message and no Democrat should be associated with it.
There. I said it.

President of the USA lives in a HOUSE, not a palace.
Any president who wants to live in a palace is welcome to move to Saudi Arabia and talk with Prince Bonesaw--he'll set you up.
Regardless of who's paying for this nonsense (donors as a kickback for their huge tax cut...1/2
