The original trilogy got it right. It went downhill from there but there are a few good moments here and there. Last Jedi and Rogue One are worth your time

Lucas changed SO MUCH shit in the special editions that didn't need to be changed. Most of it was just to insert random CGI characters and ships in the background that distract from the action. He just couldn't leave well enough alone

Lucas completely changed that scene when he redid the movies with CGI. Maybe the original puppet was awkward but the song was better
