The @wmata.com “Metro Retro 1976” 40th anniversary SmarTrip card features a picture of Breda rolling stock. Breda cars weren’t added to the system until 1982. The picture should be of a Rohr Series 1000 car. 🤷 But still congrats on 40 years of serving the DMV. #metro #wmata

Someone should do an efficiency study on the U.S. Federal Government and show corporations how to increase their value. The Feds are delivering more services and more complex services with the same number of employees since the 1950s.
The usual suspects are out there yelling "There are 23 million government workers! Fire most of them!" No awareness that most work for local governments, and most of *them* are schoolteachers. Federal employment hasn't grown since the 1950s
