I got some really good years of sobriety under my belt thanks to AA, which I do not think is a cult.
That said, lots of people treat it kinda culty, and it's really weird to me. The book is pushing 100, you're allowed to update it. And pilgrimages to Bill W's house are WEIRD.

FB allows full editing, and has a button that says "edited" where, if you click it, it shows you all the post's edits.
A place I used to belong had a "5 minutes to edit, 1 minute to edit without it saying 'edited'" system in place.
