Stanydale Temple - a Neolithic structure located 3 miles east of Walls on the west mainland of Shetland. Referred to as a ‘temple’ by Charles Calder who excavated the site in the 1940s, its purpose is unknown, though possibly ceremonial. 📸 My own. #Archaeology #Shetland

It’s disappointing that California is weakening hazardous waste regulations to say the least. Environmental advocates say state regulators have no good reason to weaken California’s regulations, which are more stringent than federal rules. 😞

Years ago, I took my son whale watching in the Santa Barbara Channel. Our vessel was surrounded by a pod of blue whales, most of which were larger than the boat. Amazing, awe inspiring creatures that surely deserve the added protection.

Interesting improvements: I especially like how the reply button will now take users to the full thread instead of straight into the compose screen. The idea is it may encourage users to read the thread before responding.
