It is so sad that - for the past 20 years- the ultimate occupational goal of the best and the brightest young people has not been to discover cures for disease or new forms of energy, but to optimize Americans’ shopping experience.

This seems to be designed to produce the most outrage and division. There is simply no reason to make a baseball game a venue for immigration raids other than stirring civil unrest.

The disturbing part of all this is the length of time it's been clear Metrolinx had no intention of building their full claimed plan especially electrification, but would never formally say so. All hype. Little progress.

The reality is that governments need to build more social housing. Simply decommodifying housing isn’t going to incentivize the supply of new and affordable homes which is the actual goal here.
