For Leith walk it is important to note that a vocal charity claiming to represent pedestrians demanded that there was no grade separation for the pre-tram sections. Napier study highlights grade separation as a step to aiding recognition of cycle track.

Excellent piece of empirical evidence, combined with the napier study of Leith walk bsbs prior to trams shows that there is no safety issue and perception issues can be designed out.

I'm a massive fan of dual carriageways being made into singles with busway as the French are excellent at

Not enough really, need to get total number of buses down and higher capacity per bus, so it's one every 5 mins or so otherwise best you can do with scoot is boost late running buses

This is really my baillwick - absolutely need to look at french bhns style centre running with tram signals, but need to get predictable and short dwell time to get signal priority functioning properly, which really isn't possible with double deckers

He should never have been allowed back through the door the way he treated us before. We were never in danger of going down, should've just got a caretaker until end of season.

Interestingly, in Belfast, when they increased stop spacing for glider, the number of passengers with disabled passes increased. Service quality matters whether or not you're able bodied.
