Problem with this argument is fat jabs. Transfers the problem from state to individual. At ~£100 a month, that's less than the food that would've been eaten, so affordable on private prescription.
Have you ever wondered why the car lobby is always happy to respond to environmental claims, but you never hear them talk about obesity or public health? That asymmetry isn’t accidental. It’s a strategic choice about which fights they can survive.

Re: banning social media for u16. I'm all for it. Franky, I'm of the opinion that we should get rid of the internet. Berners-Lee up there with Hitler as one of the worst humans ever.

The key point you make is the most important: a Government desperate for growth should be begging the leaders of our city regions to build, build, build better transport not for altruistic reasons but as the way to get higher productivity and growth.

So it appears that despite being on a fixed tarrif, this havenwise trial is just cranking the heat right up offpeak then just turning off at peak. Its wrecking my scop and we're too hot.
