I stopped using most meta products, but I get 1-3 emails a day about someone trying to reset the password in my instagram account.

I absolutely cannot budget for DOUBLE the price for Todoist. Really grateful they're keeping the Legacy Pro pricing for now. But wow $60/year is a lot.

Home Alone-ing the house so my dog doesn't get anxious when we leave. A trick I didn't realize we could do.
This is Dingo. He gets very anxious if he doesn't have a lap to sit on. In order to meet his lap needs, his family made him an emotional support dummy using pre-worn clothes donated from his grandpa. Dingo couldn't be happier, and we're happy for him. 13/10 #SeniorPupSaturday

I'm thinking @livestore.dev might be something I want to try for a little @nuxt.com app. Does anyone know of an example repo I could check out for inspiration? I think the todo app might get me pretty far, but it's the Nuxt integration I'm curious about.

I think even this summary doesn’t get the point across. Grants are basically buying services for the people of the United States. Sure, they may be a little less profit defined at times, but there are usually rigorous outcomes defined. This is how we get new medicines and technology and research.
I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service.

All these goobers posting airplanes and stars thinking they’re drones made me realize that if there was social media 500 years ago, a bunch of people would have been sharing pictures labeled “omg a mermaid” with community notes like “that’s a rock” and “manatee.”

What the fuck is this YouTube ad selling replica firearms that shoot rubber bullets? Straight garbage. Can’t look up radios or outdoor stuff without being thrown into the bucket that gets you all the “patriot” toilet paper and prepper nonsense ads.

Electronics folks: Is a usb-C soldering iron (pine64) workable? I can’t decide between that and a Harbor Freight starter kit to start building amateur radio antennas (so not super detail work).
