They're trying so hard. New line of attack from Trump admin and right wing media: Reneé Good was blocking one lane of a two lane (one way) street, letting cars pass but was dancing in her seat and honking her horn.

Update on Portland. Chief says couple had some kind of connection (not members?) to TdA but no criminal record related and they weren't being sought by police. They're in Fed custody.

I'm not sure what you're arguing. I said it was entirely appropriate to collect evidence and ID her and the car. We're in agreement there.

DHS has released info about Portland. They may be gang members. But the wording here is intentional that the association is iffy. They don't exactly have a deep rap sheet (DUI and misuse of vehicle) One uncharged was "involved" with a prior shooting, i.e., there when it happened). Familiar.

Maybe this guy is a gang banger like DHS says, but kinda odd a gang banger wanted by law enforcement would call the police to help him when he's been shot.

Well, DHS policy says two things:
1. Agents should not put themselves in a position where lethal force is the only way out (like jumping in front of a truck)
2. They cannot fire at the operator of a moving vehicle other than extreme circumstances.

Two issues. First, he fires his weapon when he's on the side and not in the way of the vehicle, and no longer in any danger. Second, police and LEOs are SPECIFICALLY trained that you cannot jump in front of a car to create a situation where lethal force is your only protection. This is MPD's rules
