The evidence keeps piling up that — contrary to popular belief — more clean renewables means cheaper electricity

11 of 12 US states with the highest proportion of clean renewables have cheaper than average electricity
Breaking-New @EIAgov data Oct 1 '24-Sep 30 '25

More WindWaterSolar means much cheaper electricity

Of the 12 states with the most (50-121%) WWS supply as a % of demand, 11 have electricity prices 1.9-5.2 c/kWh below the US average

Can we bring back leaded gas too?

I’d have to say Jean-Paul Belmondo

He played in an incredible variety of films — New Wave, noir, action, comedy, etc

Worked with many great directors including Godard, Truffaut, Malle, Melville, Chabrol, Resnais

Plus if I’m stuck on a desert island why not try to perfect my French😜

And they estimate only $8k in medical costs—but a couple in their 60s w/o subsidies can easily pay $45K or more for medical premiums alone, plus deductibles, co-pays, etc.

On Jan 1 the subsidy cliff will be $85K income for a couple.

‘Subsidy cliff’ will return in 2026 if Congress doesn’t act
If Congress doesn’t extend enhanced Marketplace subsidies, hundreds of thousands of Marketplace enrollees will face the return of the so-called “subsidy cliff.”
