Unfortunately, that’s probably true. But that won’t stop many of us from holding optional, unofficial, off-hours, not-for-credit-hour journal clubs in coffee shops. Not a long-term solution, but maybe enough to keep the candle lit during the dark ages. 🤷‍♀️

Mainstream public health? No. The outcomes we study tend to be absence of disease, rather than improving or maintaining physical, mental, & social well-being. But some subspecialties focus on improving communities, environm. justice, & removing structural & social barriers to health & well-being.

Yes. The original sin wasn’t “antigenic sin.” It was the global disinformation campaign that misled everyone into believing SARS-CoV-2 spread by “droplets” instead of airborne aerosol particles.
