The truly ironic thing about ICE invading Lewiston Maine is that there is a very solid argument that Somali immigration saved Lewiston. That population is a major driver of economic and cultural activity in the city.
Without Somali immigrants Lewiston would be another dying mill town.

If Trump wants Greenland taking it by force is his only option.
He can negotiate a deal to buy Greenland (he probably actually can't get that deal done) but at the end of the day congress has to authorize the funds and there's no chance he's got 60 votes in the senate to spend $750B on it.

So we used a $13B warship (plus its air wing and task force) to attack a small boat smuggling marijuana (that may have been headed to the US). A drug which is legal in many US states and Trump himself has declared that he wants to legalize.
