The restaurant where I work hired someone to do marketing and she was supposed to plan events but there was one event I never saw a single social post about and then no Galentine's event which she was specifically assigned. So far just lots of posts on Facebook/Insta. A whole salary for that...

I'm sorry, but "they took over the whole federal payments system, fired the career staff, and won't let anybody see what they're doing" is not a situation in which you wait for more information. It's a situation in which you assume the worst. There's no explanation for it other than rampant crimes.

We are working on our 2nd round but this morning I started crying while I was getting dressed for work because this is a government contract and all this work is going to be for nothing. There's not going to be funding.
I have been holding my breath for a month about this RFP my company submitted and we got a response today and get to participate in round two. Maybe my blood pressure will look better next week.

My grandpa got this movie for Christmas one year. He loved it and I think of him whenever I watch it. He was so in touch with his emotions. I really would love to talk to him about our current political predicament. I miss that guy all the time.
HGTV has apparently run out of houses to flip so they are showing The American President. 1) I miss movies with good scripts where everyone in them was a good actor.
2) This movie is 30 years old and we have made no progress on the issues addressed by this fictional cabinet 😩

I really thought the algorithm did well yesterday and gave me a new creator to follow who checked so many similar boxes - queer, PCOS, losing weight without dieting, WFH, in her 30s. Then I'm reading through her comments today and she's on a GLP1. Well I guess you are losing without dieting!
