It was another pantry/freezer dinner for reasons (aka short patience and a desire to not be arrested) so...chipotle mojo grilled chicken thighs, black beans, and plantains were served for dinner.

No fucks dinner is served and it's some doctored canned Greek giant white beans topped with a baked egg and feta and a twisted tiropita from the freezer (from a stash related to Lidl shopping runs).

Part 1 of dinner no fucks: two cans of Greek Giant Beans in Tomato Sauce from Lidl in a pan with some garlic, a shallit, some frozen flame grilled peppers and onions and some quartered cherry tomatoes from the garden tbat ate still ripening on the counter. Not picture: garden thyme & greek oregano.

Some nights you need a small effort dinner, like tonight with me plopping some pork chops on a grill pan after crusting with zaatar, and simmering some farro you then mix with lemon zest and sour cream and then...pull some garden beets out of jars thanking past you for doing canning.

Also: our wisteria and clematis trellises are up again! Which is good and bad...in order to get them back up, posts had to be dug for the posts/legs and many a wisteria root needed to be trimmed even though they're natives. But if nothing else root cutting should help with the pruning next year.

Tonight I decided to try doing naan to go with our paneer butter masala for dinner and....they aren't quite there, but are recognizable as a bread product (probably b/c the oven is only at 475, I'm afraid of the smike detectors at 500+ esp having roasted duck last night)
