Circumstances continue to deteriorate faster than I can lower my expectations. I probably need caffeine.
Any idea if Xcel will cut power with the predicted winds?

Agreed. I can also draw a distinction between their seemingly self-serving actions and say, Liz Cheney, whose politics also suck but who appears to have actual principles.

Agreed, a friend in Fort Collins sent a couple of pictures last night and they were pretty spectacular.

Get Schumer out of leadership. I'm not voting for Vichy Dems anymore, they're not worth supporting. There's one senator up for reelection in my state next year, and he can have my vote if Schumer is removed.

Not sure Hickenlooper even wants to keep his seat at this point, but I'm fine with voting for a primary candidate if he doesn't try to remove Schumer from leadership. We need vertebrates in office.

It's obvious that the "Yes" votes were assigned to come from senators not up for reelection in 2026. Schumer needs to be removed from party leadership, and members who ARE up for reelection, such as you, need to oust him if you don't want to be primaried.

If you fold with nothing to show for the longest government shutdown in history, you give Trump yet another opportunity to gloat while millions lose their healthcare. If you can't do better than that, take a cue from Pelosi and retire.

Voting to oust her was a pleasure, maybe she can pursue a career in something that doesn't involve making decisions for others now.

I would not like to revisit the winter wildfire experience, please and thank you.

I'm trying to come up with another thunderstorm example this late into October, but I'm drawing a blank.

I do think Brian Thompson and Charlie Kirk have them slightly more concerned than they were.

We all had that rug, apparently.

I'm sure the "Christmas of the Damned" theme will continue in other areas of the White House.

Good. Boebert can be retired from Congress.

I hope New Mexico and Minnesota join too.

I'm glad he's relatively okay, that's awful.

Earlier today it was 75° at my house and 57° at my mom's house 7 miles to the north. Crazy!
