Oh gosh the struggle. I got a similar but different struggle. I have a huge list of self-improvement things and hobbies goals I want to start doing, but if I manage to somehow pick 1 or 2 to start, then I'll eventually just drop it after a few days. Let alone actually getting to do all of them. :(

Gotta remember to not always blurt out the ideas or things I am working on. Its apparently better for people with ADHD to hold onto that for motivation to actually finish what they plan to do first before talking about it.

Actually, a lot of good writing IS cliche. Its more about the execution and making it believable and engaging. But I dont want that to make anyone overthink it, as long as you're having fun and practicing, then thats making way more progress than someone not writing out of fear of it not being good
"is this too cliche?" who cares? bro, write what you have fun writing. stuff your manuscript full of your favourite tropes. the same themes you love. all inspired by things you grew up with. do it all. go off. load. it. up. be freeeee

Do it! One way to practice character design is to try to "fuse" two characters together. I wanna start doing that more myself and start posting it, it sounds fun
