You likely hit a 75 mph section, since Metro re-enabled ATO around six months ago trains have been able to get up that speed where the track/tunnel allows.

They also need to build new/upgraded stops, add bus lanes, and do other bus priority upgrades.
Unlike the US29 route it looks like they want to have dedicated lanes in the median which would take more time to approve and build
