sometimes one novel is enough for me to trust them. other times, like w octavia butler, i will read as many novels as possible bcs i think they're intriguing.
How many works by an author do you think one needs to read to get a true “sense” of them (how much they like them, how good they are, etc)? Do you tend to follow your own advice on this?
