No, I'm wrong, there were four Barons just prior to the Arch-Vile/Spider room on UV, on HMP there are only two. Still not that drastic a difference!

Now, I was playing on HMP, but I watched a video of someone playing on UV and the setup's exactly the same. In fact, it didn't look to me like there was much difference in the monster placements at all.

Anyway, the WAD in question is Epic 2, and MAP04 has the most hilariously ineffectual Arch-Vile of all time, he's stuck behind bars in a room with a Spider Mastermind, which you can fight without ever being in the Arch-Vile's line of sight. Also you get a blur sphere so the spider is trivial too!

Yep, went back and found it, and it was accessible from the beginning of the map. 🙃

Also, fighting an Arch-Vile with nothing stronger than a normal shotgun isn't fun, please don't do that (though in fairness I may have missed a secret rocket launcher in this particular map, given that I picked up a couple rockets before encountering the Arch-Vile).

If they somehow come up with an AI that can drive an LLV I'll be genuinely impressed. But given the state of the scanners alone during the time I worked there, I'm not expecting that to ever happen!

Coincidentally, someone else I follow has been posting about what specific versions of Ubuntu and Gnome they're trying to upgrade and which ones work with each other and it's utterly baffling to me.

Finally, something to strive for!

Longtime followers will remember my complaints about the landlady's son leaving his phone blaring at top volume wherever he goes, but he ONLY seems to use that phone so I doubt he even notices if he's on 5G or the wifi. He sure never fucking notices anything else.

I know they were kind of overstuffed with celebrity voice casting but I always enjoyed the Disney Ghibli dubs, especially Spirited Away- the dub clicked for me in a way the subbed version just didn't when I first saw it.

I couldn't even get past the first of the four screenshots, that shit's just painful to read.
