I struggled with pace and tone. @seanfennessey.bsky.social and co. at The Big Picture mentioned that the 1st film was campy. Part 2 is meant to be darker, but it lacked the fun quality of last year's film. The pace was rushed, AND lacked the energy of the 1st. Not terrible, just not great. Bummer.
