Rep. Andy Ogles, a Republican from Tennessee, has sent a letter to Pam Bondi calling for Zohran Mamdani to be stripped of his citizenship and deported.

Why? Because he won the Democratic primary to become the mayor of New York City.

This is what fascism looks like.
This is a shockingly racist call by a House Republican for Zohran Mamdani to be denaturalized and deported. But instead of being viewed as unserious, it's now being promoted and circulated by LibsOfTikTok, Benny Johnson and MAGA regulars.

Democrats need to understand that Republicans are serious.

#5albums70s5 - it meant much to me then and still does today. In 1971 we didn’t have ‘relationship education’ but we had Tapestry.

It is legal to criticize the president. It is legal to criticize the president's actions. It is legal to criticize the president's advisors. It is legal and patriotic and the blood of a healthy society to hold those in power accountable, and even to mock them. Remember it.
Trump at the DOJ: "I believe that CNN and MSNDC, who literally write 97.6% bad about me, are political arms of the Democrat Party. And in my opinion, they are really corrupt and they are illegal. What they do is illegal."

Question Time last night was pretty fierce. And had to be. There's a deliberate effort now to shift the ground: towards appeasement, inhumanity and authoritarianism. Once more, we must resist it. We must fight hard for kindness.

In my column today I argue that, unbelievably, Labour are worse on environmental issues than the Conservatives.

At the Albert Hall in London for @thenewsagents.com live on stage. The arena is filling. It's reassuring that so many people are interested in journalism and the state of UK & US politics . Although @nsreynolds.bsky.social would undoubtedly say that it is a meeting of the Metropolitan Elite.
