I’m saying this about this election and my reaction to it, and then I’m going to try to use this space for joy because that’s how I’m surviving:

I am wrestling with the concept of having a future - just a future, hopeful and maybe happy - and so I have decided that I will be enjoying each day as if it will be the last, and come what may I will find joy in all the places I can. Yes, I will grieve that old future and find community where I can
