100% agreed. Too many outstanding Canadian researchers are not getting funded and closing their labs while we try to recruit superstars. Their impact should be many times higher than everyone else to make it worth the funds.

Recently read the book, and just saw the movie. I agree - not sure how those are interchangeable. Although Agnes is pronounce din the french way, so more like Anne, while HamLet and HamNet don't really make sense.

Yes, such sad news indeed. Glen was a dear friend, colleague and force of science who did so much for us at @sfuscience.bsky.social. He will be sorely missed.
