Just some of my thoughts these days, I've been trying to share more from other people and to send out positive thoughts with my feed. But I don't want to commit to toxic positivity. The world is in a dark place. My trying to encourage people is strategic. It is survival when we lift each other up.

I'm going to be real.

Don't ever subscribe to the notion of "We're all doomed." over real world events, despite how reasonable it seems to do so.

You aren't doomed until you're dead or dying. Don't fall into that hole. Be the smallest amount of positivity that some people are needing right now.

Touching grass and positivity aren't enough. I need bad things to happen to evil people.

Not all positivity is toxic, okay? Sometimes, it's just positivity that sounds cheesy, and it makes you cringe, but it's sincere.
Toxic positivity is harmful, yes. But someone rooting for better times and trying to chin others up aren't the same thing as that.

Bluesky you deserve some fireflies in a cornfield. Not pictured-the young hawk chased away by robins, the enormous kale after the rain, the smell of the tomato plant leaves.

Timeline cleanse. I saw a bunny today

Yes. It’s fucking exhausting to scroll my timeline. Where are the jokes and the memes and the fandom posts and the general microblogging musings.

i just can't do the constant all day politics. yes it's a dominant part of life in america these days, but i do it for my job. it's not a hobby to me.

it'd be like going home from the bank you work at and logging online to play "balance your teller drawer" or "mortgage officer simulator" all night.

to me the biggest problem with bluesky is that politics dominates this place. that makes sense, i assume most of us left twitter for political reasons. but there's not enough chat about other things on here. there used to be, but not anymore. you get a little of the old twitter on big sports nights

This app feels like what peak Twitter felt like ♡
