Saving money was never the goal. The goal was to cripple the executive departments as much as possible to generate chaos and prevent accountability. Dictators benefit from broken government.

When Trump claims the U.S. will receive $1 trillion in revenue from tariffs, that is not money coming from other countries.

That is $1 trillion is coming out of YOUR pocket.

This is important - GOP members of Congress own this crash as much as Trump.

House and Senate seats will be up for election in 2026. We cannot let any of those enablers get a free pass because we are focused on Trump.

Every Republican is to blame.

The goal of this tariff induced depression is to wipe out as many of the little guys as possible so billionaires can swoop in and buy up more properties, businesses, etc on the cheap and continue fucking the little guy plus reduce/eliminate competitors.

"But, #tariffs are supposed to be taxes on other countries!!!" cried every sniveling MAGA who will see their cost of living shoot through the roof.

If you voted for Trump based on "the economy," you were either an idiot or lying to yourself.

I’m going to put my rich guy hat on and say I hope that Mexico and Canada issue equal, retaliatory tariffs and stick to them for an extended period.

I apologize to all the people it will cost money and the businesses it will hurt.

But it’s the only way for tariffs to be seen for what they are
