Rs have long tried to repeal the ACA knowing full well doing so wld harm their own constituents. Since they never came up w/a replacement, the ACA grew in usage by more of their voters.

The broad category of authoritarians are known to be paranoid. Primarily to insider threats of all sorts AND to perceived threats from outsiders.
While history teaches they're more likely to move faster/ harder to insider threats, they will respond in kind to perceived threats overtly and covertly.
