Finally, with Rob as your District 2 councilor you will get someone who won't engage in dirty politics to win, demean and diminish his colleagues, or people he disagrees with, or employ divisive and negative tactics to win. Elect him on November 4th.

Rob needs our help in this race. Elections are won by talking to voters and I urge you all to volunteer AND donate to Rob. Make calls, talk to voters about his vision, which is one of a District led by someone who will work for ALL.

I am endorsing Rob Bilotta for District 2, again, because he will lead with integrity, honesty and committment to the City's residents and those in District 2. He is a kind person, willing to listen to all perspectives and a thoughtful leader who will work hard for all corners of District 2.

Since he ran in District 2, Rob has not stopped his work or advocacy. He has talked about responsible development, supporting our seniors, residents struggling with housing costs, and making our city more walkable, safer and more accessible to all road users, particularly vulnerable road users.

Rob's advocacy led the Coalition to include the voices of residents with disabilities in housing polices. I learned a lot from Rob about the unique challenges residents with disability face in finding accessible, affordable and healthy housing.

📢 I first met @bilottafordistrict2.com while doing advocacy with the Easter Seals Massachusetts and the zero-fare coalition. We worked together when I co-founded the Worcester Affordable Housing Coalition and worked with the Center For Living and Working advocates.

Yes. It was a handful of Dems who opposed the expansion of the carceral system, which was used to punish & deport immigrants. Instead many national Dems got comfortable w/ pushing for just “humane conditions” vs. refusing to fund this horrid system to punish people for civil infractions.

We have MANY streets that have not been resurfaced for 20+ years. The city manager DID allocate more money from free cash toward sidewalks and street resurfacing increasing the district councilors allocation. Clearly Jose hasn’t been paying attention. 🤷‍♀️

ICE was funded by Dems, too. They, too, grew it, funded & used it to separate families, albeit quietly. MAGA built what was already there. When many of us were calling for its abolition we were called too left.

Those who are 35+, what advice do you have for people just entering their 30s?

One picture features Congressman McGovern. The other the DPW Comish meeting w/ me & D5 neighborhood leaders. Some of us don’t need to put these pics in our mailers putting our City staff in awkward positions. Some of us have decency & integrity.

TOMORROW Sunday at 10 am!

Let’s hit another round of doors and talk to voters.

1 hour, 2 hours, whatever you can give us. Thank you to our 40 neighborhood volunteers who are talking to their neighbors about our campaign. I’m excited and grateful!
etelhaxhiaj.bsky.social
Oh no. Hahaha. They serve different purposes. One was to tell all our supporters to vote by mail :). The other one is the entire district. The post office sent them out at the same exact time :) 😃😆

Hahahaaa. Ohh poor Wayne. I feel so bad he always ends up being on the loser end of things.

Oh! That’s the first time I hear about this. 😱

For the record, 37 min door to door by bus/walk. Not bad. Biking was 15 min inbound, 20 min home (hills!). Driving is usually 12 to 15 min, but can be longer on days with more traffic congestion.

But more frequent service is needed to make it a truly convenient option. And that requires higher funding levels to deploy additional service hours.

Also, hub and spoke works fine for my destination today, but can be really inefficient for others (2/2)
etelhaxhiaj.bsky.social
Absolutely. The service still needs a lot of work to be truly reliable and connected for all riders. Thank you for being that voice on the WRTA Advisory Board! I plan to do one more ride with my Ebike this weekend to complete the #WeekWithoutDrivingWorcester

My ride to City Hall on Monday was smooth, too. Bus 7 which serves the Columbus Park/Mill Street/Park Avenue areas in district 5 is ALWAYS full and on time. I love it.

Commuting by WRTA this morning. Bus was on time and fare free - Can’t beat that! Have a bit of a walk from the hub to work, but it’s a perfect morning for it. (1/2) #WeekWithoutDriving
