I do genuinely believe that the way entertainment journalists wrote opinion pieces about sexualized characters in the 2010s did have a strong impact on the waves of internet censorship today. It's not that conservative outlooks needed an excuse, but that it conditioned the left to not defend sex.

There needs to be a program where every tech and entertainment executive gets replaced with normies. Even the rural country bumpkin would make a better leader than Sam Altman, or Elon Musk, or David Zaslav, etc.

If you pay attention to any large industry long enough and follow it to its logical conclusion you eventually end up sounding like a communist even if you started off complaining about Paper Mario games not being good anymore.

I was watching a video from 10 months ago, and the guy made a joke about Trumps weird making Canada the 51st state thing. I legitimately forgot about that until then. This fucking year has been batshit insane.
