My American cousins thought it was ‘cute’ that I took such an interest in the campaign for president. Today, after Trump declared he will annex Canada through economic force, I hope they finally understand 🤬

This is absolutely infuriating and completely preventable.
I’m so livid. DUCA (credit union) convinced my mom to put her life savings into shares (she thought it was a GIC) She is 94 and needs her money for long term care, but it can’t be cashed out. They basically said I can only try to get it after she dies! This is elder abuse!!!

This graphic just hit hard. The X and the swastika are just so similar. My mom, who survived Nazi Occupation in WW2 saw Trump rise to power and said, “Here comes Hitler again 😔.”

When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall... think of it, always.

It’s my first day here and my whole feed is filled with pets 😂. It’s nice, but I’m still trying to find my people. Here’s my dog, Ginger. She is giving one of her usual, disapproving glares. I’m usually glad she can’t talk!
