Every time I post a KS I discover a new type of crowdfunding scam. Apparently the latest one is pretending to back new campaigns for huge amounts of money to get them to email what I can only assume is some bullshit marketing business

Obvious scam: some guy pledging AU$ 750.00 to my new KS and commenting "You can reach me at axentech1(at)gmail(dot)com with your project details — I’d be glad to look into increasing my pledge to $1,500"

Every time I do a KS I'm spammed with emails for marketing services. Years ago the emails would mostly be "Your campaign is in DANGER and it will FAIL, ask me how to save it!" but now they're like "Hi! I'm Chuck Fondle. I saw your campaign and it looks very interesting! Would you like to chat?"

Combat Wheelchair rules. It's just "It'd be cool if my elf had a wheelchair" and posting it makes people mad enough to forget how the game works. A lot of replies boil down to "if I said it gives me the bad feels I'd sound like an asshole" or "I just fantasised about dragons killing you". 10/10

“That’s for the players.”
Brittany rubbed her chin. “And the Scaly Dragon Inn? Where adventurers hang out?”
“Oh, yeah. Every campaign needs a tavern.”
"And the other taverns? The Stumble Inn? The Lion’s Pride? The Quicksand? The Cloak and Dagger? Need For Mead? GrogChamp? The Lord’s Trousers? KFP? Elf Only Inn? Griffby’s?”
“Same principle, different groups.”
“I see, I see. This is starting to make sense.” Brittany leaned over the book and pointed at the map. “Where does the mixed-gender public bathhouse come in?”
Zavier’s train of thought derailed, killing most of the passengers. “That’s— I— It’s for tourism!”
