The Bible project I want to work on is basically pulling all the red letter words out into a short couple chapters.

I couldn't find a good Jesus only study book and want something I could read through regularly.

Maybe I really was meant to be DoC, bc that's largely how the denomination came about.

Starting work on a project and I think the KJV I grew up with is gonna be too old English and I've never really settled on a favorite newer version.

Virginia State Senate Dems just brought down fire and fury regarding the “Compact,” notifying the President and Rector that UVA would lose ALL STATE APPROPRIATIONS if it signs and cedes the University to “federal political control.” Notably, their letter directly restates points made here by @siva.

A really old trick conservatives use is to accuse liberals of supporting an idea that would make sense under liberal values but that liberals don't actually support for tactical reasons. So you face a choice of either accepting the false accusation or you argue against your own values.
