We’re well past requiring only that housing providers maintain working heat minimums. Heat maximums should be incorporated as we adapt and as a means of community resilience. This seems like a reasonable price to save a life.

Police in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away.

They released this video and are now trying to identify the driver.

Museum with her, where she’s associated. She held my bike while I ran to the skyway bathroom she directed me to. This bathroom, removed from foot traffic, where I had to push a button before a man’s voice, from some distant office, gave me permission to pee. Furious. I grabbed my bike, thanked her

Made a purchase at in exchange for a bathroom key, but nothing was open. Finally, standing there with my bike starting to eye corners and alleys for some privacy, I asked a lady if she knew where I might find a bathroom. We chatted, I told her my story, and she invited me to go into the children’s

Apparently picking up riders in the middle of the road. It was a mess. I couldn’t see a path forward so off I pedaled looking for a bathroom. I was in a busy city center park where there should have been a public bathroom, but no. So I just started riding. Stopped at a few businesses I would have

But with all the detours, that was stressful. Ticket enforcement was on the B line and they got in a situation with a guy that caused a significant delay, and the guy was apparently due in police custody so this turned into an apprehension situation that none of the riders should have been forced…

Hostile to humans who have to potty (especially egregious considering all the medical conditions that make this an accessibility issue). This was a bike/bus plan utilizing the new and amazing B and Gold lines. My Transit app wasn’t working but it’s so streamlined I thought I’d be able to wing it…
