European governments had ample opportunities to sanction Russia since 2016 but chose not to due to energy dependence. If we had done so and taken a financial hit while building a sustainsble energy supply we'd be in a much stronger position. Trump and Putin have been given an Ace card with this.

I can't believe that what sounded like an inconsidered, flippant remark from an unsound mind, has now spiralled into potentially the final stage of an ethnic cleansing that's gone on for decades.

Trump's words about Gaza are truly disgraceful. Long suspected that ethnic cleansing was Netanyahu's end game and always ask the question of how much he orchestrated all of this.

This "clean out Gaza" is Trump playing this weird card of chaos which he does so well. Are his words considered or are they the ramblings of a lunatic? Either way a foreign power advocating a strategic ethnic cleansing should be brought up before the UN who should have the guts to stand up to him.
