Had a job interview yesterday. It went not well, despite prep. My problem is that once the initial nervousity sets my enthusiasm and my emotions gallop away. I can't think straight anymore. I am truly excellent but completely suck at interviews. I will never change to a better institution 😢

So. I have just published something. In literally one of the best journals. Its a career highlight but I feel enourmously vulnerable. I shouldn't be, right? I should be the arrogant selfaffirmed witty stellar prof type. But sorry thats me: Quite good at what I am doing and then still so insecure.

How about a radical idea - as social media companies wield real social power, they should be in the hands of us all, as public social enterprises. This is to prevent that they become the amplifier of some abstruse cabals' private interests, with impact on us all.

Just when I got used to Threads everyone really seems to have migrated here now. Phew.

Okay so here is a suggestion. Could someone please 🙏 invent the 'socials combiner app'. That combines all my different social media into one. So I just have to open one app to update me on the accounts I follow, rather than jumping between multiple platforms. 😊
