Be kind - but also to yourself. Sometimes you will slip up, despite best intentions. Say sorry, apologise, try to do better. But also be generous and forgive (also yourself). Noone is super human.

Would consider whether it is a step in the right direction for where you want to go next. Also ask what support structures etc. And enquire about the team. Apply and see how it feels there whether u still want it. And the $$$ needs to be right.

I did it. I managed to overcome imposter syndrome and posted about it.
Its absurd to be like this in my career stage. It also hinders me when applying for positions. I come over self deprecating & weird, despite being very good (I know that rationally, just cant show it). I know this is a handicap.

Thanks and wow. This conspiracy rant is just shockingly sad, what a crass world this man lives in. What astounds is this complete disregard for the limits of his own knowledge, and for others expertise (universities?). Is it insecurity/jealousy/loneliness? Or simply a god complex gone wild?

We need to have a serious convo about content moderation. Would love to do this w some tech people who have more understanding than I have. I see several challenges: the complexity of knowledge, interaction based algorithms, emotionality of users, fringe opinions that people find enticing...
